This Privacy Policy explains how The Closet Coach (“We”, “Us”, or “Our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our iOS and Android app (bundle ID: com.closetcoach.app). By using the app, you agree to the practices described here.

1. What We Collect

Information You Provide- Account details: your email address, or name and email via Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In.
- Style profile: your wardrobe preference (menswear or womenswear), style challenges, and preferred feedback style — collected during onboarding.
- Outfit photos: photos you capture or select when using the Outfit Analyzer. These are uploaded securely for AI analysis.
- Event details: occasion type and context you enter when using the Event Styling feature.Information Collected Automatically- Device type, operating system, and IP address;
- App usage patterns and feature interactions;
- Session timestamps and crash/diagnostic data;
- Outfit analysis usage count (tracked locally on your device to manage free-tier limits).

2. How We Use Your Information

- Deliver the Service: authenticate your account, personalize your experience, and generate AI-powered style feedback.
- Store your history: save past outfit analyses so you can reference them in the History tab.
- Manage your subscription: verify your access tier and enforce usage limits via Apple In-App Purchase.
Improve the app: analyze aggregate usage to identify bugs and improve features.
- Communicate with you: send important service or security notices by email or push notification.

3. How Your Data Is Stored

Your data is stored in Supabase, a secure cloud database provider. The following is kept on our servers:- User profile: your user ID and onboarding completion status.
- Style preferences: wardrobe type, style challenges, and feedback style.
- Outfit analysis records: AI-generated results linked to your account (summary, suggestions, style vibe, timestamps).Authentication tokens are stored securely on your device using your device’s encrypted keychain (iOS/Android) or browser storage (web). 4. Payments: Apple In-App Purchase

All subscription billing is handled by Apple Inc. through the App Store. We do not store your payment card number, Apple ID credentials, or billing address. 5. Outfit Photos and AI Processing

Photos you submit are compressed on your device, then transmitted securely to our backend for AI analysis. Results are saved to your account history. Your photos are not used to train AI models, are not shared publicly, and are not sold to third parties.You may request deletion of your photo data and analysis history at any time by contacting us (see Section 8).

6. Sharing Your Data

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share data only with:
- Supabase: our database and authentication provider.
- Apple: for In-App Purchase processing and subscription management.
- Google: only if you choose to sign in with Google.
- AI processing: your outfit photos and style context are sent to an AI model to generate feedback. Data is not retained by the AI provider beyond the processing request.
- Law enforcement: if required by law or a valid legal order.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data; restrict or object to how we process it; or receive a copy in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us. You can also update your style preferences at any time in the Profile section of the app.To withdraw camera or photo library permissions, visit your device’s Settings app. This will disable the Outfit Analyzer feature.
